ART FROM THE EDGE BY WADENE AUGUST

I do not paint canvasses very often. But when I do they usually have some very special meaning for me. An image that comes to me and compels me to paint it.

The SYMBOLOGY SERIES were my earliest paintings. I was still very much influenced by my quilting background. LUNA and SPIRIT came to me while sketching in a little journal right after some long meditations and I just had to paint them.
