"Art From the Edge"-Assemblage/Collage

Like most multi-media artists, I am a collector of little bits and pieces of trash, junk, and the throw-aways of others. I pick up rusty, smashed, mottled, dirty and tarnished unidentifiable pieces in parking lots, off the streets and in vacant lots. Instead of litter or trash, I always see another wonderful piece to add to one of my on-going assemblage or collages. Of course, I also add all of the other embellishments of beads, recycled jewelry, gifts from the sea and nature, feathers, all kinds of fibers, sequins, glitter, stamping, wire, magazine clippings, clay and commercially made paper and many special paint techniques. Many of the photos in my collages are my photography. All of the clay faces are molded or sculpted by me and some of the stamps I use are carved by me.

If you would like to buy one of my assemblage or collage pieces or want more information, please contact me by email and let me know the name of the piece of art you are referring to. I rarely try to duplicate assemblage or collage pieces. So, if what you are interested in is sold, it will probably not be possible to get another like it.

Please note that some of the measurements are approximate but extremely close. If there is a bead on top then I always count that in my measurement.
